- Quaid-e-Azam’s first wife: Emibai Jinnah
Emibai Jinnah
Mohammad Ali Jinnah married, at his mother’s urging, a distant cousin (Emibai from Paneli village) when he was 16 and Emibai was only 14. The marriage was forced on his by his mother as she was afraid that if he went to England, he might end-up marrying an English girl. They hardly lived together as Jinnah sailed from India soon after his marriage and Emibai died within few weeks after that.
- Quaid-e-Azam’s second marriage, Rattanbai Petit
Rattanbai Petit / Ruttie (”The Flower of Bombay”) was the second wife of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Rattanbai converted to Islam and adopted the name Mariam. The marriage took place on on April 19, 1918 but unfortunately their marriage failed with in few years.
- Dina, the only daughter of Quaid-e-Azam
Dina, the only daughter of Jinnah and Ratti was born on the night between 14th and 15th August, 1919, a year after jinnah and Ratti’s marriage.

well this article is really informative, i got 1 question .. is there any one still alive belonging to jinnah’s family ?n who r they ?
ae phodi yon deya ne kita ki ae ae sale awam da paisa te sair hi karde ray ne pen yaqa ne nanmaz pari kadi vi na koi changa kam kita ae phudi youn de wya karan te zor rakhya ne
yes bro, Dina’s still alive and she most probably resides in India.
some oppositions say that quaid-e-azam drank alcohol but he gave up at end. TRUE OR NOT???????
of course he drank till the last day. no one drinks while he’s dying! he was a brown-sahib. Smoked like crazy. they could not even find a picture of him in pajamas for his formal potrait. so they had to draw one.
Vijay, were you his drinking buddy that you are so sure or were you just smoking like crazy when you wrote this?
is quaid;s family still khoja ismaili
what Khoja and what ismaili – dont you know that his grand father is a Hindu and that his father converted just to spite his father. And also you must know his only daughter Dina is christian. and their son is Parsi. So much for your dear Qauid e Azam
Not asking about his grandfather or what your opinion is on why he converted… Quid was a Muslim and that was his personal choice. He disowned his daughter for marrying a non Muslim. Anyways all this is someone’s personal choice the fact is that Qauid changed the world map and created a nation-state for Muslims. Anything else regarding his personal life is no business of anyone.
I don’t know, nor does it matter at any level, ever! Because what we commemorate QUAID-E-AZAM for is far above all sectarian discriminations and classifications!!! QUAID-E-AZAM was, is, and shall remain QUAID-E-AZAM; the Father of our Nation; our beloved Leader deep within our hearts and among us all, ALWAYS!!!
Dude,
Jinnah family member Nulsi Wadia is still alive and they still live in India. Remember a fabric company by name “Bombay Dyeing” he is the owner of this company.
Jinnah is responsible for creating Pakistan, a muslim homeland. Yet his family members still reside in India. What nonsence is this. Can someone exlain?
Quaid-e-azam diwowned his daughter for not becoming muslim (she is parsi). read history yourself otherwise that idoit vijay will convince you on anything.
Sam, FOR YOUR INFORMATION QAID-AZAMS FAMILY STILL LIVE IN KARACHI PAKISTAN.DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU MAKE STATEMENTS ON A GIANT OF A MAN..
SORRY SAM THE REPLY WAS FOR CHAND.
Sam,
yes I believe you’re right about Wadia, I remember a little, would look into it deeper.
Thx for the feed though,
Good day.
Allah, Pakistan
Col. Ilahi Baksh has stated that at 10:10 P.M. on the 11th September 1948 he gave an injection to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah opened his eyes. Col. Ilahi Baksh said to Quaid-i-Azam “Sir, we have given you injection. You will Inshallah live.” Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah turned his head and said “No. Not now”. At 10:25 P.M., hardly fifteen minutes later Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was no more. Dr. Riaz Ali Shah has stated that the last words that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah uttered were “Allah, Pakistan”
i dont know
THIS IS TRUTH OR NOT
i like the information of the web
Actually I wanna share and bring to intention that our Quad-e-Azam Mohammad Ali was basically related with one Khoja community. And the word “Jinna” was basically his father’s name. Jinnabhai Poonja was his father.
Because the lack of accent British Rulers were use to call him as Mr. jeenah. Actually “Jeena” was his family name. When you pronounce this jeena then please mind it that its same like when you say in Punjabi “Chun mere Makhna” “Na of Makhna” is not in urdu even as we pronounce in Sindhi, Siraeki or Punjabi.
Now here no British empire is ruling…. Read More
Then why don’t we call his family name as it was?
I mean “Jeena” rather Jinah?
Isn’t it blunder?
That’s the story.
quaid e azam ki kya baat ha:-)
Jab un ki nasal to mulk say pyar nahi to hamin kiya Khak ho ga
he made a big mistake to make Pakistan.
Khurram, I agree with you, where as others may disagree. The muslims are still not better off, as they are in India, despite all Jinnah having created separate Muslims state for muslims,or are they?
oh what are u talking about …… his nasal …… its far better they have are are staying away from us …… his sister fatima who struggled day n night for the creation of pakistan …. when she wanted to participate in election …. she only got hatred and failure …. when she wanted to talk to the nation …. radio pakistan was turned off …… what respect we give to them ….. we are just self oriented and forgetful of our past
yeshe made a big mistake by ordering to kill millions of hindus and sikhs in pakisthan
who told u that he ordered to kill hindus? these are just self made and politically used statements by hindu leaders. He was a great leader who was big supporter of joint india thats why he joind congress in start. but when he realises about hindu thinking he left congress. anyways don’t hate any Big Leader of any nation. otherwise we will not be able to make peace in world. honour all legends like Jinnah.
koi aqal ki bat kro stupid. He is father of our nation.
have u got any idea about his career, how did he become a leader ? bcoz he used to do law parctices.
Yes. He studied Law in London Lincoln’s inn. Practised as a barrister for many years.Disenchanted with the Congress party of India of which he was a prominent member Jinnah decided to move over to England forever. But when political happenings were getting totally unfavourable to the Muslims in India he was urgently summoned back by his devoted colleagues to save them. Jinnah rightly returned to India and challenged the Congress govt of India to give equal rights to Muslims in India after the Britsh left. Firstly he suggested a form of Islamic federation in India where Muslims could freely practise their religion and follow their culture in peace without being harassed and discriminated by the hard core fundamental Hindu Right political parties who openly threatened to ’show the Muslims a lesson’ after the British left India. To prove their point Hindus went on a wild rampage killing Muslims as soon as they heard the news that Muslims were asking to separate from India. Muhammad Ali Jinnah feared that living together with Hindus would eventually decimate the great Muslim religious and culture reducing the Muslims of India to a mere monument. He was desperate to preserve Islam’s great legacy in the sub-continent. He therefore pressed on and fought a legal battle for a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent. He eventually succeeded merely by his brilliant rhetoric in achieving this dream. This was a victory unprecedented in annals of political history. Historians like Stanley Wolpert pay a huge tribute to this greatly shrewd politician for this by saying how Jinnah most uniquely singlehandedly carved out a map in the heart of the Indian sub-continent for the sake of the welfare of the Muslims of India.
But most unfortunately Jinnah died three months after the partition The political leaders who took power were mostly military generals. If not they were democratic leaders who worked behind the military. Till today Pakistan has not had a wise and sensible leader who could make the country move forward in a very powerful way. Importance was given to issues of ethnicity and language while the very purpose of partition was forgotten. We have seen only corrupt greedy landowners or Waderas ruleing over their peasant communities in a high handed manner. Illiteracy (Pakistan is still 65% illiterate)naturally was followed by poverty. Pakistan is clearly divided in two distinct communities. The rich urban elite and poor rural folk who still live hand to mouth with no access to basic school education and normal means of living.
Religion is even shunned by the rich elite who pride themselves at being ‘modern’by indulging themselves in totally un-islamic ways like drinking and partying. Most of them do not even know how to say their daily namaz. So much for a Muslim homeland!
The military generals under Mr Bhutto brought disaster to Pakistan by its wrong approach to its eastern wing what is called Bangla Desh today. They could have used their wisdom if they had any not to confuse language with religion. Bengalis were looked upon with contempt as they ‘did not speak Urdu’. So they were not ‘proper muslims’. There could have been a way to understand them. The Bengalis too are not entirely innocent. They always considered themselves different in spite of Bengali language being given second official status in pakistan. They appeared to be suffering from a strange sense of inferiority complex which was not necessary. To make matters worse when Mujib ur-rehman won the presidential election Pakistan leaders of the Punjab could not accept it saying that it was an Indian plot to destabilise Pakistan. This theory was proved later to be not entirely without foundation as was admitted by Sonia Gandhi’s son Rahul Gandhi that his grandmother Indira Gandhi succeeded in breaking up Pakistan.
Today it is tragic that Jinnah is not even heard of in Bangladesh schools. No picture of Jinnah in any Govt offices. Bangladeshis of today should understand that there would have been no Bangladesh without Pakistan. No Pakistan without Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Anyway Jinnah would be weeping tears of blood today if he were alive looking at the state of Pakistan. His dream of a Muslim homeland did succeed remarkably but only to be ruined by the incapacity of the successive politicians to realise its invaluable preciousness.
You say”…where muslims could freely practice their religion and follow their culture in peace without being harassed and discriminated by the hard fundamentalist Hindu Right political parties(can you tell us which political parties were those by name?)Who openly threatened to “show the muslims a lesson”after British left India.(You are only assuming that). To prove their point Hindus went on wild rampage killing Muslims,(can you be precise and tell us what year, month, and areas of India and the casualties?)Mohammad Ali Jinnah feared that living together with Hindus would eventually decimate the great Muslim religion and culture reducing the muslims of India to a mere monument. Now tell us has that happened in India? Now tell us who come that vast majority of muslims did not go to Pakistan after it’s creation? Do you know Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib went to Pakistan at the time of partition and within few weeks he came back begging to be let back into India, and he was, and I am sure there must have been thousands like him who came back.If the way Jinnah thought, how come today there are more muslims in India than in Pakistan? Muslims of India are far better off than the muslims of Pakistan, that prove that Jinnah was wrong in his thinking. Also the population of Muslims in India have increased enormously where as Hindu and Sikh population have decreased drastically. From those points I say Jinnah was not a farsighted politician.
May the the person is suffering from Hindophobia……
Please khurram keep your dumb remarks to yourself, he did his best and idiots like you have no regard whatsoever but the least you can do is stop bitching like a loser!
Khurram is only expressing his/her views and opinion, you don’t have to be so rude.I can understand your frustration.

@R. Ashraf:
Thanks for such a beautiful post
My pleasure Insaan. Thank u for appreciating my post.To educate people without knowledge is a farz. Otherwise the whole world will always remain ignorant. And ignorance is the cause of all problems in this world.
You say,”To educate people without knowledge is a farz.Otherwise the whole world will always remain ignorant. And ignorance is the cause of all problem in this world” Very true what you say.Obviously knowledge come with education. Now do you know that Mohammad at the age of 52 married 6 years old Aisha? and he also married his own daughter-in-law? Would you say that is knowledge comes through education and reading? you have to educate people about right and wrong too.
This is a myth created since 1400 years. But it is now exploded. It has been finally proved that the holy Prophet (mpuh) married Bibi Ayesha when she was 19-20 years and not 6 as is absurdly stated.
I knew some one will defend this,I find the biggest problem with Muslims is that they themselves don’t know much about Islam, especially evil side of it.(I don’t claim to be the scholar or any thing)I just read,My reason for saying so comes from the source as follows Sahih-Muslim Book008,number3310,”Aisha (Allah be pleased with her)reported:Allah’s apostle married me when I was six years old, and was admitted to his house when I was 9 years old”. Sahih Bukhari,Volume7,Book 62,Number65,Narrated Aisha,”That the prophet married her when she was 9years old .Hisham said,I have been informed that Aisha remained with the Prophet for 9years (ie,till his death)”What you know of the Quran(by heart)” Sahih Bukhari Volume7,Book62, Number88.Narrated “Ursa” The prophet wrote the (marriage contract)with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was 9years old and she remained with him for 9years (ie till his death)Read Sura33:37 prophet mo married own daughter-in-law Zainab. This is from a Book”Facts Are Facts The Untold Story Of India’s Partition” by Wali Khan, in it he writes,”Muslims have always been denied access to truth and historical evidence.Luckily.however,history has a way of revealing itself sooner or later,no matter how much effort is made to camouflage it with pretty untruth.” So you see muslims are affraid of truth.I challenge any muslim from whole of sub-continent and Afghanistan to have their DNA done ,it will match or be nearer to Hindus and Arabs or Turks. Try it yourself.May one day you be enlightened with the grace Almighty.
Correction It shoul read”nearer to Hindus than Arabs or Turks” sorry for the mistake.
What is your name?
You always seem to write my name before you post anything making it appear that as if I am replying. If you wish to reply please write your name addressed to Haqeeqat.org.
So what is your point you are trying to make. That our holy Prophet (mpuh) should be looked upon with disrespect? We may be helpless to know the truth but we can at least try.
Your postings remind one of the Muslim hating Hindus who making subtle references to the religion of Islam with prejudice and venom in their hearts without knowing the beauty and truth of Islam.
You talk of the ‘evil’ in Islam.
You do not sound like a Muslim. You are obviously a munafiq or a rabid Muslim hating Hindu pretending to write like a Muslim.
Have you examined the truth in Islam. The beauty in Islam. The sense of justice, equality and resistance to human oppression in Islam? You say Muslims do not know about their religion. What you are trying to suggest is that all Muslims should denounce Islam as an evil religion . All South Asian Muslims must turn to Hinduism because their DNA will prove that that they are closer to Hindus than Arabs or Turks.
So what? What has blood got to do with a belief of any religion. There are European Muslims,Chinese Muslims,Malaysian Muslims, African Muslims,Central Asian Muslims.Almost every race in this world is a member of the Muslim community. So what is to do with the blood and looks. Muslims from Central Asia Iran and Arabian lands ruled India for a thousand years. Some Muslims in Pakistan still look entirely different from the Indians.India was partitioned. It is quite natural we look alike. Many look like Indians. This is not the question.
It is a question of belief.
You must watch Peace TV channel to get more knowledge of Islam.
Hear the speeches of Dr Zakir Naik to understand Islam. Hear Islamic scholars like Dr. Bilal Phillips,Yusuf Estes (American Muslim), Hussein Yee(Chinese Muslim)Yasser Faraga (American Muslim) and many more.
Sorry it is you who needs to know about Islam.
Do not fool people. You are a Hindu member of the RSS trying to fool everyone here.
You Hindus are just like the Israelis. So cunning and trouble making.
If you wish to reply be decent enough to write your name and not use mine .
One last thing. No true Muslim will ever say anything to criticise the holy Prophet.
You are obviously an enemy of the Ummah.
contact me “warlock121@live.com” i will answer as many queris you have..
I surely agree and share same views
Hey you basterd Mani and other’s who think against me, i m asking to you one question
could you plz tell me what was religion of Q Azam?
keep in mind any where in history u can find where he prayed any time all of his life?
Noway coz he and his all family was parsi
his daughter Dina Wadi Jinnah still alive and living in India and his son in law Mr wadi said in one interview that he never cares for his father in law,
you bastard think of it and then comment on any one else.
(if now you will reply without prove it mean u r Harami like him)
shutup khurram
so y r u ivin in pak
u thanless man
HEY PAKISTANI
DONT BE ANGRY.HE IS THE SECOND PART OF FIROON BUT THE END OF THE MOVIE WILL REMAIN SAME…
this is for khurram.Quaid didnt made a mistake to make pakistan but i think you r the greatest mistake in yourself.Love pakistan and build pakistan
you say”love Pakistan and build Pakistan” Pakistan was carved out of India in 1947 and in the same year state of Israel was created, would you say the same to Israelis “love Israel and build Israel” or would you rather have Israel wiped off the face of the earth? Now please don’t be abusive ,here we are discussing things and don’t get personal.
I agree with your comments.
The value of freedom can feel those people who suffered during that particular period. We don’t care, because by birth we are free.
Take care !
Khurram, your dumbness has no end. What I said in my post is Quaid did his best and you should respect that! I don’t have to prove(especially to a dumbass like you) whether he was a muslim or he prayed or not, what I do know is that he stood up for muslims, he was a strong voice for a free muslim nation, exactly what we needed at that time and his efforts came through in 1947, be thankful to that instead of judging his personal life.
Khurram… if you are living in Pakistan then I totally understand your frustration coz there is no electricity in Pakistan for the past one week : )… but on a serious note. I think that Pakistani textbooks glorify Quaid to an extent as if he was some kinda saint or perfect human being. In fact, like all of us he had weaknesses and being part of the elite class of sub-continent, he had lived his life like any other modern liberal person in that region. BUT, I have one point to make in favor of Quaid that if he was a Parsi then WHY ON EARTH DID HE FIGHT FOR A SEPERATE LAND FOR MSULIMS? Secondly, whether he practiced religion or not, I know one thing that it is none of my business… how many Muslims pray 5 times a day? Do you?
Jinnah may not have practised the strict rituals of Islam. But what he did no practising Muslim could have done. He got a land for Muslims who saw no future in India after the British left. He did this with mere rhetoric and mental astuteness. He may not have been a practising Muslim but his Niyat was far stronger than any practising Muslim.
Muslims were already slaves under the British and they hated every minute of it.These brave Muslims mostly the Pashtuns and the rest of them revolted against British Rule in 1857 sending shivers into the British ruling Govt who exacted a terrible revenge after this killing mostly Muslims in the most inhuman manner. They were made to crawl on their bellies till they bled and died with exhaustion or shot. Sometimes they were tied to the mouths of the cannons and were blown away. Any Indian was rounded up at random whether he took part in the mutiny or not and slain either with the sword or hanged. The whole of India saw nothing but murder and revenge. This was British justice. From that day till today the British and now their cousins across the Atlantic are sworn enemies of Islam and the Muslims as can be seen from their actions in Iraq, Afghanistan and now in Pakistan. Yet our wonderful Pakistan leaders love them and seek their favour. They even invite them to bomb and kill their own people in exchange for the US dollar which they receive in billions but yet do not help their countrymen as it goes into their fine lined pockets. These are not Muslims . They are a disgrace to Islam. Mohammed Ali Jinnah must be rolling in his grave to see what is happening in a country he so desperately fought to create for the hapless Muslims of the sub-continent. Jinnah thought he saved the Muslims from the menace of Hindu discrimination. But In newly created Pakistan Muslim discriminated Muslim on the basis of language, ethnicity and ‘race’. This was an abomination. Wealth was accumulated in the hands of a few super rich landlords or Waderas and peasants remain forever poor till today . Feudalism is rife and will never change. The wide disparity in Pakistani society is shocking. One half does not know and does not want to know how the other half lives. So what was the purpose of creating Pakistan? It certainly gave an identity to someone as a Muslim but unfortunately this Muslim forgot the meaning of Islam. He exchanged the noble teachings of Islam with greedy pursuit of money. This is why Pakistan is in agony today. Pakistan’s leaders are selling Pakistan to the US. May Allah save Pakistan.
Guys, come back and join India then there will be no issues, the creation of pakistan itself is a very big mistake.., pple argue about kashmir if it belongs to India or Pakistan., that makes me feel funny becoz majority of Indians feel pakistan is a part of India, so that answers the kashmir problem. In India all religions co-exist in peace, btw your jinnah’s daughter lives in India and her grand son is the boy friend of lovely Preity Zinta. Jinnahs children live in India and so why not pakistanis come and join your dear leaders children.
We would . But now that homsexuality is legalised and india is aping the perverted western way of life it would not be very healthy for our children or for anybody’s children for that matter. Freedom should be granted but with limit and discipline. Islam has strict guidelines and those wo violate it suffer. Indians are free to do anything. This is why they will suffer eventually.
oh… Rezan my old friend….. Homosexuality is legalized… but see what is the basic reason behind it.
That topic apart… In which we are suffering? Do you care to advice and highlight?
Dear all
I know you all do not know past of INDIA & PAK can you all confrom to your family GRAND FATHER/ Mother
By blood all Indian & Pak Muslim is HINDU in past by froced they converted to muslim but BLOOD can not changed
Time to think aganin WHO ARE U HINDU R MUSLIM ?????
Commando, you are right about our text books glorify Quaid but I think that is the protocol you get, for the part he played in Pakistan’s independence, again I read the same books and everyone around me and we still believe and respect him as a great leader and not as somebody who’s perfect in and out. All of us pretty much get the idea of who he was and what he’s done regardless of what’s stated in our text books, just look at the comments here, either we are showing a rational discussion about Quaid(not insisting he’s perfect) or just venting out like some of the users here, u know who you are;) sashi and santosh, nobody wants to know what you have to say, seriously, just go find your own forum or something, you simply don’t get it!
Hi Mani
I Know its very difficult to see in past , but each human have to see in past so he / she should not do same mistake
Now Time to ReChange ……….
Hi Santosh! what is difficult is to see you talking nonsense! you have no idea what you are debating about and even if you do, you don’t know this is not the right place to discuss that!
Now time to SHUTUP….
Hi Mani
Can you tell me right place i want to discuss with Data Base

Usman,You say”..Pakistan made in 1947,and the quaid….” Pakistan, and Bangladesh were not made, in fact they were carved out of India(Bharat),so get your facts right please. Or you can say they were created out of Bharat.
hey usman i thing you should read the histiry book once again you think ie jinnah lived in present pakisthan for just one year but you have forgoten something ie i thing you know that hindus people have been living in modern pakisthan fo more than 5000 years did you forget that hindu people also livs in pakisthan even today ha ha
AoA,
I read all the comments, and was surprised to know how some of our Pakistani Muslim brothers paid tribute to our most beloved leader. He was & is one of the greatest leaders of the world, but thanx to our traditional ignorance which is running in generations, we hardly appreciate his efforts, instead we criticise him for what he has not done. Half knowledge is worst then complete ignorance. Why and what we are debating on? All those who are critiising him, do they really have all the related information about our Quaid? Have they really studied him and then formed an opinion about him or they like other fools are inflicted with the opinions of perverted anti muslim group. I am sure they have not spend even 1% of their life in studying QUAID but will spend their whole lives in criticising him.
Now I would like to share some information with those who are interested in knowing about our Quaid & would like to clear misconceptions of those who never bothered to know about him.
The first thing is that yes Quaid was a gujrati, but not all gujratis are parsiis. So make one thing clear that QUAID-E-AZAM
AoA,
I read all the comments, and was surprised to know how some of our Pakistani Muslim brothers paid tribute to our most beloved leader. He was & is one of the greatest leaders of the world, but thanx to our traditional ignorance which is running in generations, we hardly appreciate his efforts, instead we criticise him for all reasons. Half knowledge is worst more lethal then ignorance.
The first thing is that yes QUAID was a GUJRATI, but not all gujratis are PAARSI. So make one thing clear that QUAID-E-AZAM was a MUSLIM.
The second thing is that his second wife was a parsi, but she reverted to ISLAM before her marriage. Only she reverted but not her family reverted, so when she died and quaid’s daughter was young, she was brought up by her maternal family. Since they were parsii’s so she had a greater parsi influence since her childhood. Now for all those who might say that why she was brought up by her maternal family and not her dad, the answer is very simple……her dad was busy fighting for the rights of Muslims.
Anyways the third thing is that why Dina and her children(family)live in India and not Pakistan. The reason is that since Dina was brought up in the paarsi set up so she chose a parsii to get married and converted to paarsi. Her father our QUAID who was a true Muslim could not take this, and DISOWNED his only child DINA. He banned DINA’S (his only child’s)entry to PAKISTAN FOREVER!!!
It is for the information of the ignorants!!
Dina was not allowed to even enter PAKISTAN, let alone live here.
This is the reason why she didnt lived in Pakistan. She even had to take permission for attending the funeral of her father. Only then she was granted permission to enter PAKISTAN that only for a day or two. After that as per her father’s will (instructions)she was never allowed to come here.
THIS IS THE BIGGEST SIGN OF HIS LOVE FOR ISLAM AND HIM BEING A TRUE MUSLIM!!! WHO HAS THE NERVE OF DISOWNING HIS ONLY CHILD FOR THE SAKE OF RELIGION? ONLY A TRUE MUSLIM HAS.
Only three four years back Dina was given permission to visit Pakistan, by the last government.
So DINA LIVED IN INDIA NOT BY CHOICE BUT WAS ORDERED TO STAY AWAY FROM PAKISTAN AS A PUNISHMENT BY HER FATHER FOR CONVERTING INTO PAARSI.
So if today she or her family lives in India, its because of what she did years back. Anyways Dina doesnt live in India, she lives in America
As for her family, yes they are Indian citizens again because of MRS. DINA WADIA, therefore they can live in INDIA.
As for preity zinta being a girl friend of the grandson of MRS Dina Wadia’s grandson. I would like to say that what do you think, if she would not become his girl friend, she will become yours? Ironically speaking girls of showbiz seek men of high status & money!!! If you possess these two, you can surely have her….not a big deal.
So all out there who have incomplete information, or are inflicted by negative opinions, plz first gain knowledge then pass comments, because you are not saying something about someone from your neighbourhood but about the greatest of the leaders, who has given you the right to live freely in a country of your own. SO WATCH YOUR WORDS!!!!
GOOD Day
hi every one;i have cheched allmost all comments on the great leader of subcontinent Muhammad Ali jinnah. Some of them were really frastating for me and for those who love this land. But some one have to understand why these guys saying like that, but let me say something about those guys who had blamed quid that he wasn’t a muslim.Tell me the meaning of a muslim?Unfortunatly we consider that just those are muslim who offer their five time prayers and kept roza in the month of ramazan.Thats is not enough.I can prove that he was a muslim (shia). When QUID died the person who give bath to the dead body was a balti who recently died in karachi.
I Think it is rabish to disscus the religion of Quiad.Just one thing that we should always remmember is that without Pakistan our existance was not posible and without Quiad Pakistan was not posible. So indirectly Quiad is responsible for our existance.
I also observed that some idians have also commented on the personality of our great Quiad here.Recently a high class pollition (Jaswend singh)has wrote a book on our Quiad’s life.I that book he wrote that “JINNAH WAS FOR BATTER THAN NAHRU AND GHANDI.HE WAS THE GREATES LEADER OF THAT ERA”. Now i think i haven’t any need to say any thing about my Quiad’s personality.
Lets come togather and do somthing for this land.

Salamz to all.I have read the comments given by all of u guys.First of all,I wanna say dat no one should be allowed 2 giv abuse 2 any one[like Mr.Khurram did,HARAMI etc].Agr koi bat hamari opinion k khilaf hoti hai tou, we should tolerate it,rather abusing. Now i come 2 da topic.Wat da difference it make k QUAID kahan dua mangtay thay ya kahan NAMAZ prhtay thay!!Every one should know dat us waqt HINDUSTAN k Muslims k mazhab ki halat kia thi.PAKISTAN isi liye tou banaya gaya tha k hm apnay ap ko better Muslims bana sakaain.Or is baat say kia faraq prhta hai k unka bachay india mai rehtay hain, agr unki beti ne non muslim say apni marzi say shadi ki tou is mai unka kia kasoor???AS Aapi said k DINA was brought up by her maternal family tou aesa hona tou must tha na.U dont see in every day life k apny parents k brought up k bawajud bht say log apni marzi say shadi krtay hain.YE tou koi waja he na hoi,QUAID k against kuch kehnay ki.YEAH,agr kisi ko un k kisi political decission pr koi aetaraz hai tou ye blkul alag discussion hai.I also wanna comment on Mr.SANTOSH sayings. As he said k all Mslims were HINDU and they were “forced” 2 converted into IALAM.It’s all wrong.I think u should study history,1st.Or history kisi aesi jaga say prhna jo k srf or sfr SUCH ka sath daiti ho,na HINDUS ka sath daiti ho or na he MUSLIMS ka.At the end,i wanna quote 1 incident. MAULLANA HASRAT MOHANI,once said about our beloved QUAID “jo sr mai ne dunnia ki badi say badi takat k agay jukhtay hoi nai dekha,wo sr mai ne KHUDDA k agay jukhtay hoi dekha hai”.This was 4 u Mr.KHURRAM.Or han ab ghussay mai mat a jana.Soch smjh k answer daina.I m waiting 4 ur reply!!!! Mai or b bht kuch kehna chati hon,bt I think aj k liye itna kafi hai, ryte!!

Millat ka Pasban hain Muhammad Ali Jinnah
As an American I didn’t know anything about Mr. Jinnah. I started to read books about India and became very interest in the Muslim League in India before the revolution. While we were taught in history classes about Nehru and of course Gahndi, we were taught nothing about Jinnah. In the last book ( The Raj ) they called Mr. Jinnah Dr. Jinnah. I know he was a lawyer educated in England but was he a Phd ? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.’ Stanley Wolpert
Jinnah was a restless student, he studied at several schools: at the Sindh-Madrasa-tul-Islam in Karachi; briefly at the Gokal Das Tej Primary School in Bombay; and finally at the Christian Missionary Society High School in Karachi, where, at age sixteen, he passed the matriculation examination of the University of Bombay.
In 1892, he left for England. There he studied law at Lincoln’s Inn. The welcome board of the Lincoln’s Inn had the names of the world’s all time top ten magistrates. This list was led by the name of Muhammad, which was the sole reason of Jinnah’s joining of Lincoln’s Inn. In three years, at age 19, he became the youngest South Asian to be called to the bar in England.
In 1896, Jinnah joined the Indian National Congress, which was the largest Indian political organisation. Like most of the Congress at the time, Jinnah did not favour outright independence, considering British influences on education, law, culture and industry as beneficial to India. Jinnah became a member on the sixty-member Imperial Legislative Council. The council had no real power or authority, and included a large number of un-elected pro-Raj loyalists and Europeans. Nevertheless, Jinnah was instrumental in the passing of the Child Marriages Restraint Act,the legitimization of the Muslim waqf (religious endowments) and was appointed to the Sandhurst committee, which helped establish the Indian Military Academy at Dehra Dun.
During World War I, Jinnah joined other Indian moderates in supporting the British war effort, hoping that Indians would be rewarded with political freedoms.
Jinnah had initially avoided joining the All India Muslim League, founded in 1906, regarding it as too Muslim oriented. However he decided to provide leadership to the Muslim minority. Eventually, he joined the league in 1913 and became the president at the 1916 session in Lucknow. Jinnah was the architect of the 1916 Lucknow Pact between the Congress and the League, bringing them together on most issues regarding self-government and presenting a united front to the British. Jinnah also played an important role in the founding of the All India Home Rule League in 1916. Along with other political leaders Annie Besant and Tilak, Jinnah demanded “home rule” for India—the status of a self-governing dominion in the Empire similar to Canada, New Zealand and Australia. He headed the League’s Bombay Presidency chapter.
In 1924 Jinnah reorganized the Muslim League, of which he had been president since 1919, and devoted the next seven years attempting to bring about unity among the disparate ranks of Muslims and to develop a rational formula to effect a Hindu Muslim settlement, which he considered the pre condition for Indian freedom. He attended several unity conferences, wrote the Delhi Muslim Proposals in 1927, pleaded for the incorporation of the basic Muslim demands in the Nehru report, and formulated the “Fourteen Points.
Jinnah broke with the Congress in 1920 when the Congress leader, Mohandas Gandhi, launched a law violating Non-Cooperation Movement against the British, which a temperamentally law abiding barrister Jinnah disapproved of.Jinnah resigned from the Congress, with a prophetic warning that Gandhi’s method of mass struggle would lead to divisions between Hindus and Muslims and within the two communities. Becoming president of the Muslim League, Jinnah was drawn into a conflict between a pro-Congress faction and a pro-British faction.
In September 1923, Jinnah was elected as Muslim member for Bombay in the new Central Legislative Assembly. He showed great gifts as a parliamentarian, organized many Indian members to work with the Swaraj Party, and continued to press demands for full responsible government. He was so active on a wide range of subjects that in 1925 he was offered a knighthood by Lord Reading when he retired as Viceroy and Governor General. Jinnah replied: “I prefer to be plain Mr. Jinnah”.
At the Round Table Conferences in London, Jinnah was disillusioned by the breakdown of talks. After the failure of the Round Table Conferences, Jinnah returned to London for a few years.
In 1934 Jinnah returned and began to re-organise the party, being closely assisted by Liaquat Ali Khan, who would act as his right-hand man. In the 1937 elections to the Central Legislative Assembly, the League emerged as a competent party, capturing a significant number of seats under the Muslim electorate, but lost in the Muslim-majority Punjab, Sindh and the North-West Frontier Province.[24] Jinnah offered an alliance with the Congress – both bodies would face the British together, but the Congress had to share power, accept separate electorates and the League as the representative of India’s Muslims. The latter two terms were unacceptable to the Congress, which had its own national Muslim leaders and membership and adhered to secularism.
Following the failure to work with the Congress, Jinnah, who had embraced separate electorates and the exclusive right of the League to represent Muslims, was converted to the idea that Muslims needed a separate state to protect their rights. Jinnah came to believe that Muslims and Hindus were distinct nations, with unbridgeable differences—a view later known as the Two Nation Theory. Jinnah declared that a united India would lead to the marginalization of Muslims, and eventually civil war between Hindus and Muslims.
Through the 1940s, Jinnah suffered from tuberculosis; only his sister and a few others close to him were aware of his condition. In 1948, Jinnah’s health began to falter, hindered further by the heavy workload that had fallen upon him following Pakistan’s independence from British Rule. Attempting to recuperate, he spent many months at his official retreat in Ziarat. According to his sister, he suffered a hemorrhage on September 1, 1948; doctors said the altitude was not good for him and that he should be taken to Karachi. Jinnah agreed, but he died in Quetta on September 11, 1948 (just over a year after independence) from a combination of tuberculosis and lung cancer.
It is said that when the then Viceroy of India, Lord Louis Mountbatten, learned of Jinnah’s ailment he said ‘had they known that Jinnah was about to die, they’d have postponed India’s independence by a few months as he was being inflexible on Pakistan’.
Hi, Jan
Regarding your query about Jinnah’s education I would like to give details about his education as well as some of his achievements, his policies for general information.

Aapi,
Thanks for the great bio on Jinnah. I wonder why little is known in the history books in the USA? As for India, I think the cast system will keep India as a third world country. What do you think?
Jan
wait people..whatever Muhammad Ali Jinnah was in his private life and however his personal came out..we should all respect him, because every human in this world is to be respected…what ever his faults Muhammad Ali Jinnah did what others just sitting and criticizing at home can’t do..HE MADE BUILD A NATION..and everyone who criticizes him should look at themselves in the mirror and ask them selves what all they have done for others..im sure its not as great as what Muhammad Ali Jinnah did…i think that we should respect every human being and if we do that all the hatred in this world will shy in front of the respect..so peace out people…
Actually quaid azam was not muslim-
This was the british technique to break india-HE WAS AGENT OF BRITISHERS-
I Think Irfan is right Mr. Jinnah eveary day take large qunt.of wine he is chane smoker, madom ratn bai skaped with him without permision of his father to london, she dosn’t bleave in islam and Mr.Jinnah also.after partition he weare shaerwani pajama, just like zia ul haq cut the mushtash after presidentship.and Mr. zardari cut the mushtash. Irfan you are right he was a british agent.
This time large asian muslims devided in three part due to cause of Mr. jinnah. jinnah and abdullah bin saba stand at same plateform .Abdulla bi saba made SHIA MUSLIMS and jnnah made special illiterates pakistani muslim.all of that anty muslim politics.
Thanks for giving much details of Mr Jinnah’s family, however,if it has been added some more information about his forefathers and family who were Hindu Lohanas from Paneli(Kathiawad,Gujarat,India)convereted to Ismaili Khoja, because they were trading in fish, which their Castes disapproved, upon threathings of ostracize they had no choice but to convert to Ismaili Khoja. In latter years while in Bombay Mr Jinnah himself adopted another sect of Islam ‘Ithnashri’
These are facts and written in a book by Dr Rafiq Zakaria.
Thanks again giving space.

Irfan said dat “He was a british agent” ..Dn ,my dear Bro,can u explain,Y British Viceroy & some of his friends were so jealous of him dat dey used 2 call him “MAD MAN”..& if u say dat MUSLIMS r only dose people, who dont wear suits, who do have beard,dn SORRY,u cant judge a MUSLIM,by his dressing & outlook,only..
Jilani said dat “He used 2 drink,etc,etc,etc..” Bt U cant say dat 1 person, who was not gud in his private life, cud not b gud in his public life..If u read history,u can easily conclude dat “private lives of great man were always turbulent”..
& ofcourse,he divided INDIA {Do remember,INDIA was not a country at dat time ,bt a sub-continent} 4 da rivival of ISLAM in sub-continent..If PAKISTAN was not made,MUSLIMS could have been vanished 4m sub-continent,jxt lyk,as dey vanished in SPAIN..U shud remember dat ratio of MUSLIMS & HINDUS in INDIA was 1;4..
Dont u both want 2 survive as MUSLIMS..??? If ur ans is YES,,dn plx dont 4got dose ppl,who tried deir best 4 dis purpose…….

Confirmed Mr.Zinna wa taking orders from Winston Churchil to destroy
Unity between Indians under British policy of DIVIDE AND RULE.Over 90% Muslims of India and Pakistan are
Hindus by blood, their great great grandfathers were Hindus……..
Mr. Zinna divided the INDIANS with help of other Indian Traitors and
British Agents like Gandhi,Vallbhai Patel and Nehru(He had private
Relations with wife of Viceroy Mountbaiton)
Mr. Zinna gave 30 muslim states to India e.g Bhopal,Huderabad,Junagadh, etc and created Pakistan in undeveloped area comprised of 6 Muslim states like Khairpur,Kalat,Swat,Bhawalpur
Makran,Hunza etc.Jinnah was neither a Muslim nor he went to any mosque insread he was PORK eater and weternised Kala Babu who worked
Under British orders PROOF is he was never arrested inspite of his
DIRECT ACTION DAY in Ramzan Thousands were killed in Calcutta under
His orders….Can you beleive a Muslim orders killing in Ramazan
YA??????????you got it Dracula Jinnah wa not a human being what or
Discuss if he was a Muslim?? He was a Munafiq like Zia and Musharraf
And Gajjal and Yazid of our time responsible for millions of killings of innocent people as much as Gandji,Nehru and Villabahi Patel.History will never4 forgive these INDIAN TRAITORS…
Adil,
Please proof that Jinnah was taking orders from Churchill and he ordered killings of Hindus in Calcutta?
What else is the proof of intelligence that he could not be arrested? His struggle was legal, just and carefully planned as such that he could never be put under any charge.

Quaid had two separate Funeral prayers: one was held privately at Mohatta Palace in a room of the Governor-General’s House at which Yusuf Haroon, Hashim Raza and Aftab Hatim Alvi were present at the Namaz-e-Janaza held according to Shia Muslim rituals and was led by Syed Anisul Husnain, while Liaquat Ali Khan waited outside. After the Shia prayers, the major public Funeral prayers were led by Allamah Shabbir Ahmad Usmani a renowned Sunni Muslim scholar and attended by masses from all over Pakistan. This funeral was well on record and supported by pictures as well.

Dear Hammad Hassan Bhai-
Would a man’s chracter matter more to you than to know what his beliefs are? What his achievement and services are for his people?
Please ask this to yourself that a Hindu who built Janki Devi Hospital in Lahore , MAO College in Lahore, a Parsi who built NED University Karachi,DOW MEdical College Karachi or Lady Redding Hospital Peshawar is more repectful than a person who lies ,cheats and has all symptoms of a 3rd grade human being but he prays 5 times(and forgets what he is asking from Allah in Suraa-e-Fateha)?
What is the true meaning of munafik?A mushrik and a munafik will be in the same grade of hell.
Hello:
Mohammad Ali Jinnah is the man who created the first ever state that was based on ideology.Second one being Israel.
It is a pity that he is the most un-known person to us today. Why?As thankless as we are, none of us has time to read about the man who gave us a country and independence after fighting a three-fronted war.He had to fight the Congress,He had to fight the British and he had to fight his muslim adversaries who thought that we should let the British declare Independence. After the departure of British, we(muslims of India)will conquere the whole of India and re-establish the Muslim Rule.Wah!
Has anyone ever took the labour of seeing what was the state of muslims in India when Jinnah demanded a separate state? We were slaves of the British. And we would have been slaves of Hindus as well.Hindus held all the top slots in civil services, education, finance, defense forces, business. Why?They earned the right to hold these positions because they were more progressive, more educated and more far sighted than muslims. When we were thinking to recite ABC will ruin our Islamic faith,Hindus were getting degrees in Commerce and Engineering. When our mullahs were holding badd dua sessions in mosques so Angrez could get out of India,TATA family was setting up Steel Re-Rolling mill in Calcutta. When our landlords and nawabs were taking money from hindu money lenders to spend over prostitutes,Birla had already set up a bank , three jute mills,a steel mill and cotton dying mill. How many muslims did we have who were running an enterprise that was feeding thousands of workers and setting up an industrial base for an India that we see today?
It was Jinnah who gave us what we actually did’nt deserve.Country is run by patriotism,hard-work,self-less struggle and gratitude first to Allah for his great kindness and then to the leadership who paved the way to achieve this task.Honestly, how many of these attributes do we have?
Lord Mountbatten in his last interview with BBC just before 22 days of his death by explosion on the hands of Irish Republican Army.He says”I am in the stage of life when I have not a lot to acieve.I am alone as Mrs/Mountbatten is no lonher alive. There comes a time in a man’s life when he should start sharing the truths he faced in his life.I was sent to India to stop the division of India.I was confident that I would achive the task because
We are worried what was his sect?People, the character he had was far far more superior than the panjwaqta namazis we see as our leaders. He was honest,he was sincere. He would turn the lights off himself when leaving the office. He refused to have a desert cooler in his office. His health was detoriating in humid weather of karachi because of lung problems and doctors had advised him to have one.He refused because he had to allocate extra budget for it.His family member came to pakistan.he was plannig to come to pakistan if he could get permit to sell diesel oil so he can start a living.Jinnah told him not to as his migration was based on greed.
Today his great grandson Ibrahim Jinnah lives as a middle-class person.he is working at a bookstall in Karachi. His details came in Sunday Jung last year.I will se if I can find it and provide so ones who are more worried in biting the hands that feed could be pacified.
He was a Muslim,He disowned his daughter when she married a Parsi. He donated his own estate and a lavish home which he had purchased from his own pocket to a college. That college thanked him by declaring sherwani and jinah cap as their uniform. That college is the Islamia College Peshawar. From where my family members graduated.
Jinnah was honest/So honest that one day I asked my grandfather that how come the pathans(i am a pathan)voted in favor of Pakistan and loved Jinnah so much when the propaganda was such that he could not speak urdu and he is not a true muslim as he did’nt pray 5 times a day?My grandfather’s reply was quick and had the wisdom of ages behind his words. He said”Jinnah never spoke a lie.We knew that whatever he is saying , he means it!”
When Lord Mountbatten in his first speach to Pakistan assembly said that we are leaving behind the system of secularism for you and taking the example of Emperor Akbar’s secularism you will not have problems of creating a new system.Jinnah did’nt waste a single minute and stood up.He said”We dont need a system designed by Akbar , we have the greatest and most successful system in front of us,USVA-E-Rasul and the Muslim State of Medina.
I am very thankful to Aapi for hard work she had done to bring up the information for us.
As far as guys talking negatively about Jinnah that he was not muslim or a Shia or he was an agent and he was wrong in creating pakistan, well to me they are like dogs who look at the moon at night and bark! They are lucky that the have a home built by their father who would be working at a good post in an independent muslim country.Had it not be for jinnah, these guys and their fathers wold be filling up bags of rice and daal at a karyana shop owned by a hindu because we never were more educated or hard working than hindus of that time.I am sure if they go to India today, they wont get a job of a pimp even.I came to this conclusion after reading the low class text they typed.
My father built us a lovely home. Now it’s my job and duty to take care of its maintenance.Jinnah has given us a home.we will take care of it inshallah.
And one last thing about his lineage,Khojas could never be hindus like jats, rajputs, memons, sindhis and other indian races.the races i named here will remain a jatt or rajput or sindi etc no matter what their religion is.You can change Your religion but cannot change your race.Someetime back all were hindus. Some converted and became muslims and sikhs(jatts and rajputs)and some remained hindus.Khojas are egyptians in lineage. They came with arab traders and setteled in gujrat as gujrat at that time was a sea-hub and trading center.
Jinnah is far above than the minds and remarks of ignorant fools we see blabbling here. They are spitting at the sky and when you do that, spit comes back to your face.Hell with Shia or Sunni.Jinnah was great human being.A man of spotless chracter. He wanted India and Pakistan to live like good neighbours. If he had more time ,I am sure he would have put some sense into our minds as well so that we could start living in the present.
Qaide-e-Azam Zindabad,Pakistan Paindabad.
Ali Abbas bhai zabardast.Quaid is really a great leader of the whole world

pate name was coined because Punjabhai was so thin in his body,in Gujarati language ‘Jina’ means lean, not plump),as we now all know that Punjabhai was converted to Ismaili Khoja (a sect of Islam, whose are followers of H H The Agakhan, now spread all over the globe, enjoying prosperity of wealth),Mr Mohamad Alli Jinnah was able and clever person, who carved-out a land of Pakistan from nowhere on the soil of India, making fools and dumbfounded all clever policicians of India!!Many books are written about Mr Mohamad Ali Jinnah, out of which one written by Dr Rafiq Zaakaria is worth reading.
But one question still remain unanswered, was it worth it if he really wanted homecountry for muslims of India? What is really now Pakistan is not of his dream. His speech of first
Legislative Assembley of Pakistan has been put away in dustbin,in which he never ever made Pakistan as it is now, surely many Pakistani fellowmen will agree with this.
Excellent works

mr khuram iam a true muslim nd pakistani nd i think u r a bloodiy indian who is always betrayer nd jealus or u r a namak haram thats y ur saying that “jab unki family ko pakistan se pyar ni to hamain khak ho go”what rubbish.dina was aalso betrayer nd she left mr jinnah for a christine guy bcoz mr jinnah was nt redy to accept a christine man without converting in islam to merry a muslim girl it is nt allowed in islam. So if she didnt love hr father so how can she love Pakistan?hw ac any one expect from her?but v love our founder M.Ali jinnah and Pakistan for ever and ever.We love both of them and pry for them.
if hundrads of ghandi in Muslim league… if only one Mohammad ali jinnah in Congress. (Hindu national party)
Pakistan never ever appear in the world
saying by Ghandi familiar she was also a senior leader of congress during separation time of Pakistan from Sub-continental.

Thank you.
i love our quaid muhammad ali jinnah
Reading your updating of this web-link,regarding Mr Jinnah, and have come across and noticed that some people(particulaly Pakistani)are very much fond of Mr Jinnah and truly love him, some of them have very little knowledge of pre-partition history of India, which also has connection with creation of Pakistan, also some participants’ views are also not checked for its authenticity and impartiality,so your editorial roll is failing in its function, therefore, true picture of person, who is now called a Father of Nation, not maitained, some historical facts should be accepted when one wants to present history of any kind, that can not be distorted,if it is done with intention then unfair and prejudiced picture and matters will run amok, hopefully, henceforth true statements and details should be retained on this web-link so prestige and reputation should prevail.
