But if the alternative is to let "Islamic" values stay rooted in the medieval ages, maybe I feel differently. "Islamic" culture -- in other words, the barbaric, conservative mongrels who control it now -- is absolutely brutal towards its women and homosexuals. If you can't accept Americans celebrating our OWN values in our OWN embassy, maybe you do need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. I'm genuinely sorry lives had to be lost. I'm genuinely sorry a president I didn't even elect murdered your people. But if you're going to call my gay friends "decrepit," then you don't respect our values, so why the !@#@ should I respect yours?
