Join the online campaign of ‘Go Green Pakistan’ and change your DP (Display Picture) to a customized Green DP!
GO GREEN Pakistan is a Public Display of National Unity on Digital World originally initiated by Farhan Masood and Talal Masood on Twitter and Facebook. The ideology is to make every Pakistani existing of the face of the web- i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Hi5, Spaces, My Space etc and your blog(s) and website(s) and instant messengers- TURN GREEN.
In a very short period of time big chunk of the social networking websites has been painted by a lot of people going green! Along with dozens of volunteers- including Farhan and Talal themselves- have been receiving bundles of requests and are editing the display pictures; adding a Pakistani flag into those DPs. Alhamdolillah, by now 16 volunteer designers have joined and also 5000+ Pakistanies and 20+ Foreigner Friends-of-Pakistan have gone green!
If you are on Facebook, search for the event titled PAKISTAN ZINDABAD. It intends to get as many people to go green by August 14th as possible.
